Puget Sound is our home. It’s health and recovery are a driving force behind our work and dedication to ensuring thriving communities centered on environmental and social equity. Founded in 2010 Site Story works at the nexus of built environment, urban ecology, and social impact.
our services
Site Story’s services converge to build healthy communities that are rich in connectedness and character, offer accessible experiences for everyone, and contribute to a sustainable ecological footprint. These attributes combine creating and preserving places that reflect and value social and environmental equity, culture, climate, and ecological priorities.
Site Story provides a variety of services aimed at helping clients realize projects and programs that contribute to community capital while also shaping and sharing each client’s unique storyline. Site Story has a long history of tackling complex environmental issues and distilling them down to understandable sound bites that all ages can absorb, learn from, and find empowerment in being proactive around climate resilience.
Our Impact
Our work is based on the philosophy of human ecology. A fundamental belief that human beings are part of nature rather than separate from nature. We use the power of engagement and storytelling to help clients understand their current narrative and envision the story they’d like to shape. The heart of each project begins with a story which is used to create plans and foster ideas necessary to realize their new vision.
Site Story’s work typically involves multiple disciplines. Our growing network of strategic partners brings even more richness and varied expertise to the table. Sometimes small is big, especially when assembling the perfect team for every project that comes fresh with new ideas, a dedication to do great work, and a desire to create a better world. Site Story’s primary client is the planet. Everything we do must add up to protecting and restoring the environment while seeking social justice and inclusion.
